Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of SumBlox (the "App"), provided by Octet Software ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using SumBlox, you agree to these Terms and to the Apple-required terms referenced below.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SumBlox on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and these Terms.

2. Purchases

SumBlox may offer purchases through the Apple App Store, including a one-time "Remove Ads" purchase. All payments are handled by Apple, and refunds are governed by Apple's policies and may be requested through Apple.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to reverse engineer it except as permitted by law, or use it to infringe anyone's rights or to cheat or disrupt shared features such as Game Center leaderboards.

4. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. It is provided for entertainment purposes only and involves no real-money gambling or wagering.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Octet Software will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the App, if any.

6. Apple as third-party beneficiary

These Terms are between you and Octet Software, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. Any maintenance, support, or warranty claims are our responsibility, not Apple's.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
